We offer a fun range of services to help all children to explore and discover their love for cooking.
The Kitchen Kidz Inspire Project at Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate School has integrated an extracurricular activity course module in the Food Technology classroom. Special Kitchen Kidz 'Fold & Hold' recipes are taught to passionate students throughout the week during the afternoons.
Other schools are welcome to join in the live stream option and cook-along with us as we Zoom class the sessions from the hub of cookery education for young students.
Family Cook-Along Foodbags are a great option for dinner tonight! The loaded Kitchen Kidz grocery bags come with a Step-by-Step guide card and an instructional video featuring our young Kitcheneers who ably show how easy it is for Kidz to cook any Kitchen Kidz 'Fold & Hold' recipe!

Featuring our Kitcheneers, the cook-along videos are designed to make it easy for the Kidz to get dinner done safely, on time, and in great style!

Food Technology and Kitchen Kidz at Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate School
Kitchen Kidz at school Inspire Project provides the school with Comprehensive Revision Coverage of ākonga skill sets in Food Technology year 7 and 8.
Video recorded up-close footage of the students in action, displays individual capabilities as they cook-along together in team groups, giving focused attention on individual tasks contributing towards the teamwork.
Added food technology educational assistance has been designed to proudly create a hub for specialized training in cookery at Te Oraka Shirley Intermediate.
Kitchen Kidz club membership is automatic for all students, families and friends, and includes a free ‘family foodbag and cook-along video delivery for all students' families. TACA.
Group Cooking Live Virtual Workshops
at School or at Home
Our chef-hosted live streamed group cooking workshops are a great way for ākonga to learn new recipes while using their educational devices, forming strong and trusting relationships with team members. Workshops are designed to foster all means of technology in food education, teamwork and collaboration while teaching ākonga how to prepare delicious meals. With a focus on fun and creativity, our virtual live classroom workshops are a great way to encourage all students into a future of healthy living.
